Term & Condition
1. Delivery Charges

- Within 15KM Radius: RM25 per trip (one-way).
- For distances beyond 15KM, a charge of RM1.50 per additional KM will apply, calculated from the pickup location.
- After-Hours Delivery (Before 08:00 or After 17:00): Additional RM15 per trip applies.
- Note: Delivery charges are non-refundable once service is dispatched or accepted by the customer.
2. Additional Driver Policy

- Additional drivers are charged RM10 per person per day.
- All additional drivers must be declared and registered at vehicle pickup.
- Use of the vehicle by unregistered drivers will result in:
- Full liability for all damages and accidents,
- Insurance protection being rendered void,
- Penalties up to the full replacement value of the vehicle.
3. Driver’s Age & License Requirements

- Permitted Age Range: 23 to 65 years old.
- Foreign Nationals: Must hold a valid, English-language license. Validity is limited to 90 days in Malaysia.
- Prohibited Licenses:
- Probationary (P) licenses
- Expired, suspended, or non-English licenses (unless officially translated).
4. Minimum Rental Duration

- Minimum rental is 24 hours.
- Late returns exceeding 12 hours will be charged as a full additional day.
- Backdating to avoid charges is not permitted and will result in a penalty.
5. Mileage Policy
-
- Group A–D: 200 KM/day included.
- Group E: 150 KM/day included.
- Excess Mileage Charges:
- Group A: RM0.50/KM
- Group B: RM1.00/KM
- Group C: RM2.00/KM
- Group D: RM3.00/KM
- Group E: Charged at prorated daily rate based on 150 KM/day.
- Tampering with the odometer is a criminal offense and will incur legal action.
6. Vehicle Collection Requirements

- IC/Passport
- Valid Driver’s License
- Business card or utility bill to confirm address
- The hirer must inspect and report any damage or missing items before taking the vehicle.
- Unreported issues are considered the hirer’s full responsibility.
- Inspection records must be signed off by both parties before vehicle handover.

7. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Drivvay offers two mandatory Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) packages designed to reduce your financial exposure in the event of an accident. These plans lower the required excess and place the repair obligation under our insurance coverage, provided all conditions are met.

- Fee: RM20/day
- GCRM Coverage Limit: Maximum of RM1,500, depending on the total repair cost.
- Excess Payable by Hirer: Maximum of RM1,000, determined by the severity of the damage.
- Eligible Vehicles: Below 1.5cc
- Examples: Perodua Axia, Proton Saga, Myvi, Honda Jazz, Toyota Vios, etc.

- Fee: RM40/day
- GCRM Coverage Limit: Up to RM3,000, depending on the total repair cost.
- Excess Payable by Hirer: RM1,500, determined by the severity of the damage.
- Eligible Vehicles: 1.5cc and above
- Examples: Honda City, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Almera, Mazda 3, Hyundai Tucson
Important Conditions (Applicable to All CDW Packages):

- CDW does not cover:
- Careless or reckless driving
- Use on unsealed, off-road, or prohibited terrain
- Incorrect fueling
- Battery issues from unattended electrical devices
- Tyre damage (puncture or burst)
- Theft or damage of vehicle accessories
- Use of vehicle by unregistered drivers
- CDW is only valid if:
- A police report is filed and notify Drivvay within 24 hours of the accident
- All third-party details (name, IC/passport, vehicle plate, license) are submitted.
- CDW coverage applies only in a collision involving two moving vehicles.
- Stationary damage, roof, underbody, or flood damage is fully under hirer’s liability.

- Deposits are refunded within 10–14 working days, provided:
- No damages or incidents.
- No unpaid summonses or traffic violations.
- Vehicle returned in satisfactory condition.

9. Penalties & Prohibited Conduct

- Smoking in the vehicle: RM300 cleaning charge
- Unpaid traffic summons: RM300 penalty if unpaid after notification
- Skipping scheduled servicing (for long-term hires): RM1.00/km after exceeding 500 KM limit
- Tampering with GPS, dashcam, or telematics: RM500 penalty + termination of insurance coverage
- Vehicle misuse (e.g., racing, off-road, towing): Voids insurance + full liability
10. Speed Limits

- Repeated speeding violations may result in blacklisting from future rentals.
- Comply with all legal speed limits and road safety regulations.
- Any fines, summonses, or penalties related to speeding violations are the full responsibility of the hirer.
11. Rental Extension Policy

- Advance Notice Required
Hirers must inform Drivvay in advance if they intend to:- Extend the rental period beyond the original agreement

- Unauthorized Extensions
If a rental extension is approved but payment is not completed, continued use of the vehicle will be treated as unauthorized use. In such cases:- The hirer will be subject to penalties

12. Return & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy

- All cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up will be charged the full daily rental rate.
- Early termination of the rental agreement (i.e., returning the vehicle before the agreed return date) is not eligible for any refund, either full or partial.
- No refunds will be issued for no-shows — customers who fail to collect the vehicle without prior notice.

Please use the following subject/message format:
“Cancellation of Reservation – Booking No. [Your Booking Number]”
The cancellation notice must be received no later than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Requests submitted after this window will be subject to cancellation fees as outlined in the Refund Policy below.
Return Policy

- Early Returns:
Returning the vehicle before the agreed rental end date does not entitle the customer to a refund for unused days. - Late Returns:
- A grace period of 60 minutes may be granted at Drivvay’s discretion.
- Returns that exceed the scheduled drop-off time by more than 12 hours will be charged as an additional full rental day.
- Return Condition:
Vehicles must be returned to the designated location in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.- Charges may apply for damage, excessive dirt, or missing items.
- Failure to return the vehicle on time without notice may result in additional charges and/or legal action.
